Dragon Boat Festival Gathering in Kenilworth

The long historic Dragon Boat Festival is one of the biggest Chinese festivals. We are hosting a gathering for families with children who are interested in celebrating this culturally meaningful event together.

There will be activities related to this festival and suitable for children from toddlers to 12 years old, including craft making, story telling, rowing game, singing and playing instruments...etc. Refreshments, gifts and tasting of the famous rice dumpling (粽子) will also be offered!

Free entry. This gathering is part of the "Mayor’s Community Weekend", supported by National Lottery funding and the West Midlands Combined Authority. An immense gratitude is expressed here.

Previous knowledge about this festival or Mandarin is not required, please come and join us!
