2024 Christmas Mini Concert at Castle Brook Care Home

Just prior to Christmas and a day following this year's winter solstice, we organised a special event at a care home in Kenilworth. With the help of my violinist friend, Claire, we invited some students to perform their favourite Christmas music and sing carols with the elderly. Although the space was limited, the audience was modest in size, and the weather outside was cold and wet, the atmosphere inside was warm, and the musical environment created by the children was truly delightful.

Let it snow, Walking in the Air, Ukrainian Bell Carol, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, The First Noel, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, We Three Kings of Orient Are, Jingle Bell Rock, Ding Dong Merrily on High, Silent Night, We Wish You a Merry Christmas...etc. These songs resonated throughout the afternoon, bringing joyful smiles to the faces of the residents.
